12:12 am	I hate my job! I am tired of my job so damn much I want to kick someone's head in. My boss is getting on my case for talking too much which I consider harrasment since I see everyone else including him and the other supervisors talking too and I know it aint all business chat. I get my job done so it shouldn't be an issue. Maybe its cause I don't shmooze and participate in smalltalk i.e. sports, weather, so and so's hooters yada yada. I tend to talk about more profound philisophical or political topics or I talk about whatever book I am reading at the moment which takes up more time. LOL. Current Mood: annoyed (Comment on this)

3:24 pm	Ok, I am sitting here waiting for the roofing guy to come and take a look at my roof. It lost a tile a few months ago and its starting to rain so now is the time to end my procrastination and get it fixed before we get water damage. I know I said I would try to post everyday but I was extremely gung ho at the time. I have recently come to the realization that I do not belong at my job. I don't like most of the people there. They are not necessarily bad people I just don't care for them and their views about the world around them. I have been there almost 14 years and now I feel I need to move on. I kinda want to be a teacher but that seems like a daunting task. I started reading again about 6 or 8 months ago after a more or less 10 year hiatus. I ahve read probably a dozen books in the last 6 - 8 months where as I probably read maybe 2 in the previous 10 years. Most of what I am reading now is non fiction by people such as Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Jared Diamond to name a few. I find their work and those like it fascinating. I can't seem to get enough. Ok, done for now. Need to move on to other things but I will try and return soon. (2 Comments |Comment on this)

3:25 pm	Hello World Hello World. = ) This is my shiny new blog page. I am going to try and jot down at least one thing per day(weekdays only) so check back later and see if I follow through. I always have a million things going through my head all day at work and want to write them down but usually don't have time and then once I get home I deflate so we'll see how it goes.
